So the development [of hydrogen] is a little easier \u00bb\u00bb<\/p><cite>Celine Audenaerdt, Technical Director of the Port of Antwerp<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/cero2050.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maxresdefault-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-36591\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cero2050.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maxresdefault-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cero2050.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maxresdefault-356x200.jpg 356w, https:\/\/cero2050.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maxresdefault-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cero2050.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maxresdefault-16x9.jpg 16w, https:\/\/cero2050.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maxresdefault.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Audenaerdt also noted that, when it comes to legislation, the authorities&#039; understanding of LNG and their knowledge of the challenges it poses &quot;makes the introduction of hydrogen a little easier.&quot;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the webinar, Audenaerdt explained how the Port of Antwerp has been prepared to carry out LNG fueling operations safely. The terminals have been prepared through workshops and training, so they know the safe handling procedures for LNG and are aware of the risks that LNG bunkering entails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Audenaerdt also highlighted that the Port of Antwerp has set a CO2 emission reduction target of 45% by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Antwerp is the fifth world port for the supply of fuel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Port of Amberees has an important role to play in the transition to &#039;green&#039; fuels.
