El actual objetivo de la UE de al menos un 32% de energ\u00eda renovable para 2030, establecido en la Directiva sobre energ\u00edas renovables (REDII), no es suficiente y debe aumentarse al 38-40%, seg\u00fan el Plan de Objetivos Clim\u00e1ticos (CTP). La propuesta incluida en el paquete de medidas Fit for 55 debe todav\u00eda ser aprobada por el Parlamento y el Consejo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los objetivos europeos de energ\u00edas renovables vienen creciendo desde su aparici\u00f3n en 1997. La primera Directiva de 2009 establec\u00eda un objetivo del 20% para 2020 y compromisos a los estados miembros. Mas adelante, en 2018 esta objetivo se elev\u00f3 al 32% para 2030, la propuesta actual (RED III) elevar\u00eda el objetivos hasta el 50% en 2030, necesrio para cumplir con los objetivos del Pacto Verde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta revisi\u00f3n es tambi\u00e9n necesaria para que la aviaci\u00f3n, el transporte mar\u00edtimo, y el transporte de larga distancia, que no pueden ser f\u00e1cilmente electrificados hoy en d\u00eda y para los que se necesitar\u00e1n combustibles renovables y bajos en carbono, incluido el hidr\u00f3geno renovable, para sustituir a los combustibles f\u00f3siles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Los nuevos combustibles deber\u00e1n ser completados con mejoras de la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, el cambio modal y los esfuerzos de electrificaci\u00f3n.
